Outfitting and Guide Service

Guided hunts

If you are a lucky recipient of a Marble Mountain elk tag, you will want to hire a guide to have the best chance at getting your long awaited trophy. We offer an all inclusive, five day, one on one, guided hunt, using horses and mules to haul you and your gear safely in and out of the wilderness. Call early if you have max points to get booked.

$6,500

(+additional $1000 per hunting companion)

Contact us to inquire about other hunting trips. Although we specialize in the early season marble mountain elk hunt, we are available for late season elk, bear, and deer.

Drop camps
Pack mules and riding horses are offered $150/day/animal. Enjoy your ride or hike while all your gear is safely transported to your camp. Stay as long as you like and get picked up on a pre-arranged date.

Custom pack trips

Customize your mountain vacation. If you want the wilderness experience with room service and five star meals, let us accommodate you. If you like to ride and don’t feel comfortable in the mountains without a guide, bring your horse or ride one of ours to explore the many lakes and valleys in the Marble Mountain or Trinity Alps Wilderness. We offer day rides or camp trips. The options are many and flexible.

Farrier Service

We offer a reliable farrier service with regular appointments scheduled in advance, approximately every eight weeks. Hot fit is standard. References on request.

Leather Shop

Custom tack and saddle repair. Anything from chaps to saddle strings, to a brand new collar for your dog. Check out our store in the menu for in stock items. Custom work and repairs are $50/hr. shop rate, plus material.
